Torrey Pines HS Freshman Detained After Making Threats: SDPD

No weapons were found in the home of a Torrey Pines High School student who was detained Thursday after making threats to harm others, police said. The 14-year-old freshman was suspended from Torrey Pines High School Wednesday after he made verbal and written threats, San Diego Police Department (SDPD) Officer Joshua Hodge said. The police department was called to investigate.  Claim Against SDSO Assistant Sheriff Alleges Sexual Harassment, Retaliation Thursday afternoon, police went to the student’s home to question him, at which point it was determined that the student had made threats to commit a crime that could result in injury or death to others, Hodge said. The nature of the threat was not made clear.  Dem.
