SELF SERVICE SANDBAGS AVAILABLE

Sand and sandbags are available for residents and businesses of the incorporated area of the City of La Mesa with valid La Mesa ID. The City requests that individuals take only what they need.

Sandbags can be picked up in the front office at the Public Works Yard at 8152 Commercial Street during normal business hours (M-Th 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and alternating Fridays from 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) while supplies last. Sand is available for self-service in the shed in front of the Public Works Yard Fuel Facility.
