The first of two Rainwater Harvesting workshops begins at 3 p.m. this Thursday, March 14, at San Diego Youth Services Spring Valley Campus, 3845 Spring Drive in Spring Valley.

The second workshop is at 1 p.m. March 27 at Lakeside Tractor Supply, 14140 Olde Highway 80.

Workshop participants will learn how to capture rainwater and receive a free rain barrel at the end of the event; however, rain barrels are available to unincorporated residents only and available while supplies last.
