Teen in Parents' Truck Leads Pursuit, Crashes into Gas Pump

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department says a juvenile who allegedly stole his family vehicle led a patrol unit on a chase that ended with a crash into a gas station pump.A department statement says the incident began early Tuesday morning in the Spring Valley area when a deputy attempted to stop the pickup truck for driving without lights on during darkness. ‘Dangerous’ Rescue After 1 Killed in SR-78 DUI Crash: CHP The driver sped away and attempted a turn but lost control.
