Pedestrian Struck, Killed on SR-94 in Golden Hill


A person was struck and killed Sunday night on state Route 94 in Golden Hill, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP started to receive calls of a pedestrian walking in traffics around 9:50 p.m. on westbound SR-94 at 28th Street.

Moments later, the CHP received calls that a person was struck and killed. 

Westbound SR-94 at 28th Street and the on-ramp from 30th street was temporarily shut for the investigation but have since reopened. 

Traffic on westbound SR-94 was backed up to the Interstate 15 connector.

It was unclear what the person was doing on the freeway.
