Options abound for pyrotechnic displays

If you’re looking for a place to watch fireworks on Independence Day you have a variety of choices in which to enjoy a community celebration or set up a lawn chair and look to the night sky.

Free playgroup-4th of July Crown-Alpine

The city of El Cajon will host fireworks on July 4 at 9 p.m. at Kennedy Park. Other free activities will be offered as well including:
2-7 p.m. Train rides
3-7 p.m. Arts and crafts and family games
3-9 p.m. Two live bands
9 p.m. Fireworks
