A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 5 off-ramp in Old Town, the California High Patrol said.
The motorcyclist tried to pass other vehicles on the off-ramp at around 3:40 p.m. when he hit the curb and went over the side, the CHP said.
A SigAlert was issued at 4:20 p.m. for southbound I-5 slow lane and the Old Town off-ramp was closed because of the accident.
The cyclist died at the scene, San Diego Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Monica Munoz said.
