Man Sought in Domestic Violence Incident Leads Pursuit to Bonita

A man involved in a Lemon Grove domestic violence incident fled from San Diego County sheriff’s deputies and led them on a pursuit on local highways until he was arrested in Bonita. Deputies were called to Lemon Grove for a domestic violence incident just before 10 a.m. and when they arrived, a suspect got into a vehicle and drove off.  Aspiring Model with San Diego Ties Among 6 Killed in AZ Plane Crash The driver failed to pull over and continued in a slow-speed pursuit from southbound Interstate 5 to eastbound State Route 54. Deputies pursued the suspect’s vehicle to an apartment complex near the Briarwood Road exit from SR-54.  Fallout From Radio Stunt Leads to Station Format Change At that point, deputies say the driver jumped out of the car and ran. Deputies were on foot searching the area and used the sheriff’s department helicopter to locate the man. Kelly Moody, but there were no injuries.Moody said deputies were assisted by San Diego and National City police to secure an arrest in the case.
