LA MESA, Calif. — A 66-year-old man was hit and killed by an SUV in La Mesa Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
At 3:35 p.m., the man was crossing the 5700 block of Lake Murray Boulevard mid-block when he was hit by a black Toyota SUV.
The driver, a 19-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and was not injured.
The man’s identity is being withheld until his family has been notified.
Any witnesses of the collision were asked to call La Mesa police at 619-667-1400.
