Lincoln Park Man Stabbed with Ice Pick by Neighbor

A Lincoln Park man was stabbed with an ice pick by his neighbor following an argument, police said.

The stabbing happened around 4:45 p.m. after the two neighbors got into an argument, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.

The victim, a 40-year-old man was stabbed five times in the back by his 48-year-old male neighbor, who fled the scene, he said.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Heims said. 

The suspect was described as a black man wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and a white and blue hat. 

Anyone with information about the stabbing was urged to call the San Diego Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
