La Mesa Springs is directly outside the neighborhood (Vons, Starbucks, and Albert’s Mexican Food). The village has great shopping and restaurants and is less than 1 mile from our house. The trolley stop is also less than a mile from the house and provides easy transportation to downtown San Diego.
