Dow Falls 750 Points, S&P 500 Hits Correction

Stocks fell on the first trading day of the month as Amazon put pressure on the broader tech sector and brokers worried over the possibility of a trade war between the U.S. and China, CNBC reported.The Dow Jones industrial average was trading as much as 750 points lower in the early afternoon, with the broader S&P 500 down 3.1 percent to enter correction territory.
