Chula Vista Facing Police Staffing Shortage

Chula Vista’s police department is facing a public-safety crisis.The city’s police Chief Roxana Kennedy said the voters need to pass Measure A on the June ballot. It calls for a half-cent sales tax that would raise $17 million, which would be split with the city’s fire department to hire more first responders.
