2 Killed in Crash That Left Cars Mangled in Escondido

Two people were killed and two others were seriously injured in a crash that left a Dodge Charger and a Ford Mustang mangled in Escondido. The crash occurred late Sunday near the intersection of El Norte Parkway and Ash Street, west of Interstate 15.  Neighbor on a Mission to Help Family in Need Two people were pronounced dead when paramedics arrived, and two others were taken to a hospital trauma center with injuries, according to police. Investigators remained on scene for hours working to determine what led to the fatal crash.
