For most of the season, Dylan Coleman, a Granite Hills senior, led San Diego high jumpers with a 6’5 record. In early April, Max Castin of Rancho Bernardo unseated him with a 6’6 jump. Now, with CIF next week, Coleman has found his way back to the top with a 6’6 jump to match Castin’s.
Appropriately, this year’s track and field season has gone by in a flash, and now East County is facing CIF with a few standouts to rival the best in the section.
