The La Mesa Personnel Appeals Board provides independent review of certain personnel matters. City employees in the classified service may appeal certain grievances and disciplinary actions to the board.

The board meets as needed in the City Council Chambers, La Mesa City Hall, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942. Check the posted agenda for the date and arrangements for a particular meeting.

Membership and participation
The board has five members appointed by the Mayor with City Council approval. Members must be resident electors of La Mesa and serve three-year terms.
