Woman Fatally Struck in San Marcos

A driver hit a woman in the 500 block of E. Mission Rd. Saturday morning around 11 a.m., the San Diego Sheriff’s Department (SDSO) confirmed.Deputies said the woman was walking on the north sidewalk of the road when she was hit by a westbound vehicle OPD Looking for Man of Interest in Home Invasion Attack She was pronounced dead at the scene.The cause of the collision is under investigation.
