Lakeside residents turned out on Maine Avenue for a parade of cars filled with seniors graduating from El Capitan High School. The graduates were greeted with black and yellow balloons, confetti, and the sound of cheers from friends and family who lined the street June 4 to offer support and congratulations. Traditional high school commencement ceremonies countywide were postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
