Mission Trails open for holiday shopping

Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center is opening its Holiday Marketplace on Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., transforming itself into a seasonal marketplace with one-of-a-kind gifts from local artisans with nature-themed products.
Venders will offer a variety of products, including jewelry, cards, home goods, woodworks, ceramics, soaps, and fine art. The Visitor Center Gift shop will be stocked with Mission Trials merchandise with apparel, books for all ages, toys, holiday accessories, Kumeyaay pottery and baskets, and the opportunity to purchase original prints from the park’s 2022 photo contest.
Gwynne Bruck, children’s book author, will be at the Center from 11 a.m. to noon to sign copies of her book set at Mission Trails, “Dasha on the Trail.”
This event benefits the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation, with 30% of sales from independent vendors participating, also going to the Foundation.
