He saved my life definitely,” one victim said. Watch how they are hoping to repay his kindness.

4. You Are Beautiful

This story can be summed up in three words: You Are Beautiful.

The phrase is now hanging on the side of the Apple Tree Supermarket in Ocean Beach thanks to Stephanie La Bue Robles.

“Even though we’re a small town, we have a big heart,” said Robles. “It’s for everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you live, what you’re doing, you are beautiful.”

There’s a lot more to the story behind those words, and it begins a decade and a half ago.

5. Afternoon Showers Bring Evening Rainbows

Thursday evening may have been a nightmare of a commute home for most of us but the storm that drenched the region left behind a very beautiful sight.

We received image after image from our followers on social media and NBC 7 viewers who had captured a rainbow or even a double rainbow in the skies over San Diego. Take a look at the images and thanks for sharing!

Have a great week!
