How to Watch Jim Laslavic's Farewell Sportscast Tonight

Watch Laz’ final SportsWrap tonight at 11:35 p.m. on air or online.

NBC 7’s Jim “Laz” Laslavic will retire this month after reporting on San Diego sports for more than 30 years.

Laz has traveled to Super Bowls, the World Series and the Olympics in his role as Sports Director for KNSD.

Most recently, he has been the host of NBC 7’s SportsWrap Sundays following the late news.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my 30 years at NBC 7. I got to work with an amazing group of professionals,” Laz said.

NBC 7’s Derek Togerson penned a heartfelt goodbye to his colleague ahead of Laz’s final show Sunday night.

A graduate of Penn State University, Laslavic played for coach Joe Paterno and was inducted in the Western Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.

He moved to San Diego in 1978 and played as a linebacker for the San Diego Chargers.

Always a good sport, he has been willing to do almost anything for charity from hosting his annual golf tournament to completing a 620-mile charity bike race or twirling on the dance floor with his daughter in a ballroom dancing event.

His final SportsWrap show will air on Sunday at 11:35 p.m. Former anchors Susan Taylor and Marty Levin will join him for his send-off.

To watch his last show, viewers can tune into NBC 7’s broadcast at 11:35 p.m. or watch a livestream on NBC 7’s website.
