After a year off due to COVID pandemic precautions, La Mesa’s Holiday in The Village event returned to La Mesa Boulevard on Dec. 4. Crowds of approximately 7,500 total people enjoyed the noon to 9 p.m. free event, which featured live music, gift vendors, a kids’ play area, Santa Claus (of course) and more.
“The turnout was wonderful! It was busy from start to finish. It was a great success and we loved seeing our community celebrate the holidays in our Downtown Village,” stated La Mesa Village Association marketing director Elizabeth Ranta.
