County offers free flu testing

The County of San Diego has opened seven test sites for influenza at former COVID-19 testing and treatment sites. The tests are no-cost. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins will be accommodated if scheduling permits.

“This is a great resource for our families, friends and neighbors to conveniently find out if that cough, sneeze or achy feeling is the flu or COVID-19 without making a trip to urgent care or an emergency department,” said Dr. Denise Foster, County chief nursing officer in the press release.

Spread throughout the county, the following locations are open. For more information, hours of operation, or to make an appointment, visit the
County’s COVID-19 website athttps://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/hhsa/programs/phs/community_epidemiology/dc/2019-nCoV/testing/testingschedule.html.
