Police are investigating after a man’s body was found on fire in the backyard of a home in an Oceanside senior living community.
A neighbor called 911 after seeing smoke coming from her neighbor’s yard at a home just off College Boulevard and Vista Way.
When the Oceanside Police Department arrived, a man’s body was found on fire in a side area of the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
OPD is investigating the suspicious death but said they are not looking for any suspects. It is possible the death was suicide but OPD is still investigating.
