One person was hurt in a home robbery in Clairemont Friday, San Diego police confirmed.

The SDPD said the robbery happened at around 11:50 a.m. at a home along Ashford Street, near Lindbergh Neighborhood Park. Police said at least one victim had been hurt in the robbery.

Officers swarmed the neighborhood and focused their attention on securing the home where the robbery had happened. Just before 12:15 p.m., police said the scene had been secured.

Officers shut down traffic along Ashford Street, between Mustang Drive and Hatton Street, so investigators could start collecting and preserving evidence. They advised motorists to stay away from the area, for now. Eckstrom Avenue was also closed.

At this point, the severity of the victim’s injuries and details of the robbery are unknown.
